Keira Knightley, 22, is thought to have a one-year contract worth more than £500,000 to be the new face of the scent, which launched in 2001 with Kate Moss in the spotlight.
At the time the contract was revealed, Christine Dagousset, the executive vice-president of fragrance and beauty, said: “We think Keira is the perfect woman because she is always incredibly alluring and seductive.”
